Faces

25 Jun

Today was our boys’ memorial, which was shared with a few dear friends and family.  It’s another example of something I’d like to talk more about later, but suffice it to say it was a really tremendous time.  If you were there in person or in spirit, thank you.

It probably hasn’t escaped you that Carey and I have been very precious about sharing photos of the boys.  Only a very few people have seen them and that may change eventually, but to commemorate the day, it seemed a good time to share my drawings of our sons, produced for the memorial.

I wish I could describe how this service and this day moved me… but any description would be inadequate. Those precious boys will always have an impact on my life for which I am grateful. I know that I too will see them again.

And I never commented on your name post, but truly, you couldn’t have written any more beautifully or chosen more perfect and powerful names for your sons. Still praying for you guys all the time.

I am so grateful to you and Carey for so honestly and eloquently sharing both your joys and your deepest pain throughout this journey. The memorial service was a heart wrenching and beautiful tribute to the three perfect little humans that managed to touch us all in a way none of us expected or will ever forget.

Hello Jeremy, The drawings of these beautiful little angels is just perfect. I am a cousin of yours and live in Greenville, SC. your Great Aunt Grace and Uncle Ralph were my Grandmother and Grandfather. I lost my first little angel in 1966. He was born early also at 6.5 mo. and weighed 2lb 12oz. God had a better plan for him and took him at 27.5 hrs old. One day I will see him again as you and your wife will also see your angels.
God bless you both and he will bring you through such a trying time in your life.
